The Department of Computer Science is one of the newly formed departments, offering Computer Science as a second subsidiary subject in BA programmes and as an optional paper in BSc programmes.

The department has 20 computers with 2 servers. One of these servers is a terminal server and the other is a Novell server. It also offers its students a collection of 494 books for reference. The department uses an LCD projector to conduct classes.

The department collaborates with the department of Mathematics to conduct classes in ‘C’ language for second and third year BSc students.
